Next level downwind foiling, with ultra narrow sizes for the fastest accelerating downwind performance. Accelerate like never before, and achieve strikingly fast take offs. Longer and narrower sizes of the Ace Foil Lightining offer surprising stability and incredible downwind performance.

 

 

COMPARISON TO THE ACE FOIL AND ACE FOIL LIGHTNING

 

Both the Ace Foil and Ace Foil Lightning models share the same design but differ in size scaling. The Ace Foil Lightning is longer and narrower, reducing drag and extending the waterline for faster glide and earlier takeoff—ideal for flat-water and downwind SUP foiling or racing. In contrast, the Ace Foil is slightly shorter and wider, offering a more agile and playful flight with greater maneuverability in both downwind conditions and waves. Its compact design helps limit catching during turns while extra width ensures stability. In short, the Ace Foil Lightning is optimized for speed, while the Ace Foil excels in agility and control.

TECHNOLOGY

BLUE CARBON

LIGHTWEIGHT, STRONG AND DURABLE, PVC REINFORCED STANDING

 

› Top grade 150g Biaxial Carbon wraps the entire board, joining with an overlap on the deck and bottom to create flat stringer, increasing the total breakage strength.

› High density PVC is wrapped over the standing area for extra impact resistance, while keeping weight to the absolute minimum.

› Ultra light reinforced Foil Box is engineered with 5 x horizontal stringers, with an extended PVC Omega stringer that extends beyond the foil box for additional strength and control.

 

 

HIGH-ASPECT PARALLEL OUTLINE

Based on a teardrop outline, the Lightning range has a straighter parallel outline to maximise the stability and efficiency.


PIN TAIL

Tracking and efficiency are two key aspects of the pintail design. The pin tail offers great tracking for catching bumps and fast and smooth takeoff and minimal catch when touching the water.

 

ROCKER

The rocker is fine-tuned for speed, spring, and larger bumps. The rockerline has been tested in a range of conditions, from flatwater to large ocean swell and is both lightning fast in take offs and forgiving in touch downs.

 

CORDUROY DECK PAD

Featuring a dual corduroy texture, the pad enhances board feel while delivering exceptional grip and comfort for every ride. The different orientation of the corduroy in the center of the board allows you to feel where you stand.

FLAT DECK

The deck space is maximised to the full width, offering more space and comfort from the narrow outlines.

 

BOARD SOCK

Reduces paper waste while protecting your board from dust, scratches, and UV damage. Made with stretchable polyester.

Our narrowest, highest-spec board at 83L, designed for ultra-fast acceleration with smaller, faster foils.

The 7’6” was our R&D testers favorite model for downwinding and flatwater pumping on smaller foils.

A great option for longer downwinders. The narrow and longer shape is made for distance foiling, giving you fantastic speed in the air and acceleration onto foil.

Featuring a high aspect ratio for speed while offering enough volume for most riders; the 8’4” blends generous volume in a fast design.

FFor larger riders, the 8'10" x 19" has a generous 140L of volume while still designed as a high-aspect ratio model, offering striking downwind acceleration and rapid foil takeoff.
