COMPACT, DURABLE & CLUB-READY
An ultra-low aspect ratio with short tucked wingtips keeps handling forgiving and wingtips clear of the water for better control and faster progression, while High Tenacity Dacron and a Code-Tec 85 canopy deliver long-lasting durability with low stretch rigidity. Large windows, a bright red canopy, cool grey leading edge and a hands-free waist leash make it an optimum choice for schools and clubs.
ULTRA-COMPACT ASPECT RATIO
The SOURCE’s ultra-low 1.8 aspect ratio packs as much low end power as possible through a into the shortest wingspan possible, making getting going on foil, handling your wing and keeping your wingtips clear of the water easier than ever.
TUCKED WINGTIPS
Inward-tucked wingtips further prevent wingtips touching in the water, making the wing super forgiving to handle and allowing for record-pace progression.
BUILT FOR THE LONG RUN
Incorporating high tenacity HTD160 Dacron on the leading edge and high tenacity Code-Tec 85 cloth on the canopy which both not only withstand beatings and extended use but also offer low stretch and rigidity while remaining accessible.
STEEP DIHEDRAL
A steeper 14° dihedral makes the wing very manueverable, easy to handle, and further prevents wingtips from touching in the water.
DEEP PROFILE, LONG CHORD
A deep profile with a long chord creates a grunty wing with solid sheet-and-go power, helping the rider to get up on foil earlier as well as ride with a smaller wingspan.
LARGE WINDOWS
Enlarged PU windows maximize visibility and safety, with large center windows for clear downwind sight and front windows for forward view — helping riders avoid collisions, especially important when learning and progressing in wingfoiling.
BRIGHT RED CANOPY
A full bright red canopy ensures the rider will stay visible on the water at all times, especially important for progressing riders getting into the sport to ensure they stay safe and have piece of mind at sea while developing their wingfoiling skills.
COOL GREY LEADING EDGE
A cool grey leading edge keeps PSI stable in the sun, reflecting heat to prevent overinflation and extend the wing’s lifespan. *A black leading edge goes from 10-13 PSI in the sun, while cool grey only goes from 10-10.5 PSI.
FLUTTER-FREE FLIGHT
Four stiff fibreglass battens are strategically positioned on the trailing edge of the canopy to ensure a silent and flutter-free ride regardless of the wind strength.
ERGO FLAG HANDLE
An ergonomically low-mounted flag-out handle with a wide, soft touch grip and stiff webbing base provides effortless, direct and comfortable freefly control.
DUAL PUSH-TURN VALVES
User-friendly max flow push-turn valves offer easy inflation and deflation, while seperated strut and leading edge inflation points let you fine-tune pressures separately for maximum performance and customisation in changing conditions and disciplines.
PISTOL GRIP BOOM (SOLD SEPERATELY)
Choose between Prepreg UD Carbon or Aluminium Pistol Grip booms based on your budget and preference. The ergonomic, soft-touch design offers semi-flagged control, easier tacking and gybing, excellent roll control, and a non-slip, comfortable grip for longer sessions.
WING WAIST LEASH (INCLUDED)
All Starboard wings come standard with a durable waist leash for safety, comfort, and hands-free movement, keeping your wing secure while keeping your arms free. A wrist leash cuff is also available as an interchangeable aftermarket part for those who prefer it.
WING BAG (INCLUDED)
Our vented wing bag accommodates your wing, a pump, accessories and fits a full 109 cm long boom inside while still attached to your wing so that you don't need to remove it when on the move. Made in partnership with Waste2Wear using recycled plastic bottles.
