BACK FOOTSTRAPS
Relocating the back straps further aft allows for less surface in the water and thus increases top end speed.
ENHANCED REFLEX CONSTRUCTION
The iSonic Speeds provide increased bottom stiffness for faster response and better rocker durability from 0 to 80 cm by adding an extra layer of UD Carbon. Stiffness where it counts, Reflex control where it’s essential.
DRAKE SLICK FOOTSTRAPS
The Drake Slick footstraps are made with FSC-certified, sustainably sourced and plant-based Yulex foam. With 85% natural rubber content, CO² emitted during the manufacturing process is reduced by 80%. The remaining 15% of synthetic neoprene is kept to improve UV resistance. Carefully sourced with the smoothest fabric for a comfortable feel.

CARBON REFLEX SANDWICH
THE FLAGSHIP CONSTRUCTION
The iSonic Speed Carbon Reflex is our flagship range. The light weight allows you to get going easier, plane through wind holes and get the best top speed. Carbon Reflex is our stiffest construction, giving you the best control when hitting chop and waves. Decks are built with the lightest grade of biaxial and uni-directional carbon fiber orientated between 45, 30, and 0 degrees for optimised flex and reflex characteristics. The bottom of the boards uses an even lighter grade of uni-directional carbon fiber from nose to tail plus an extra UD Carbon layer from 0cm to 80cm to increase stiffness response and durability of the rocker with an extra 45-degree biaxial carbon layer in the tail area.
The unique shape and the four fins generate maximum drive and acceleration, bringing an awesome production of speed, flow and power to your sailing in all wave & wind combinations.
Stable and extremely responsive, the Quads are most rewarding when driven off the rails for powerful yet smooth turns. The four-fin grip gives a very connected sensation to the wave yet they still have the ability to lose the tail when extended through the lip for a rotational move.
For 2015, subtle changes producing significant differences in performances have been introduced on three models in the range.
The Quad 79 and 84 have their Vee brought forward of the fins. This produces more precise rail-to-rail control in the bottom turn allowing for quicker trajectory changes as well as facilitating cutbacks as the board rolls off the Vee to set the forward rail.
