GO
ICONIC FOR ALL
Introducing the GO 2026 range – our iconic One For All reimagined. The new GO 152 (260 x 80 cm) features huge 3 cm deep cutaways for enhanced displacement mode and smooth planing up to 25 knots. It doubles as a foil platform with GO-Fly Foil 1800 and a forward foil box (2200/109/500 UCS) to fly from the early learning stage. The rest remain proven.
Oversized cutaways extend all the way to the front footstrap, making the GO152 ride free even at high speed; it’s a fast board despite its size.
The GO’s straps position enhance gybing, as you usually prefer to have the front foot further forward. The longer tail area helps exiting gybes as the board keeps levelled through the gybe.
Middle fin option: The Starlite tech option has a middle fin box in case you wish to learn windsurfing in light winds and need that stability and added upwind “hold”.
HUGE 3 CM DEEP CUTAWAY
Enhance displacement mode for smooth gliding and progressive acceleration into planing.
OPTIMIZED FOR PLANING
The board’s extended length and refined design ensure progressive acceleration and early planing.
GRAVITY CONTROL SYSTEM
A lowered center of gravity improves stability, control, and rapid acceleration with every gust.
PLANING
To get going, you usually place your forward foot in front of the strap, to keep the board flat and help it accelerate into planing mode.
With the new GO, we moved the fin box and straps forward 20 cm, putting you in the ideal position and in the strap right from the beginning.
The bottom of the GO has a deep V extending the flat area for even more acceleration into planing mode and making it go, flying smoothly through chop.
RIDING SENSATION
Oversized cutaways extend all the way to the front footstrap, making the GO152 ride free even at high speed; it’s a fast board despite its size. This more forward standing position and super early planing capability helps the board stay better upwind, so you can confidently explore the coast line. If the wind is solid and you know how to use a harness, you can hook in and enjoy the excitement of full powered planing. The rail profile rolls smoothly onto the deck, so even when riding in the inside straps, your feet remain at the most comfortable angle.
The variety of strap positions help you progress from entry level using the front inside straps to high speed using the outside back inserts.
LONG, FLAT BOTTOM
Maximizes glide in displacement mode, setting the stage for rapid planing in harness and straps.
ICONIC ONE FOR ALL DESIGN
Carries the heritage of GO—delivering effortless planing, automatic jibing, and versatile performance.
VERSATILE PERFORMANCE
Ideal for both progressing windsurfers and beginners.
JIBING
The GO’s straps position enhance jibing, as you usually prefer to have the front foot further forward. The longer tail area helps exiting jibes as the board keeps levelled through the jibe..
MIDLE FIN OPTION
The Starlite tech option has a middle fin box in case you wish to learn windsurfing in light winds and need that stability and added upwind “hold”.
The variety of strap positions help you progress from entry level using the front inside straps to high speed using the outside back inserts.
FULL DECK PAD OPTION
The GO is also provided with a 3/4 deck pad for a soft a friendly surface for the tough first days of learning. For the more advanced riders a classic pad option is available giving the sensation of our jibe boards Carve and Futura.
CONSTRUCTIONS
STARLITE
CRISP AND SHARP
The GO 152 windsurf boards are available exclusively in the Starlite construction, a significant step up from the standard construction typically used in this price category: lighter weight, stiffer, tougher against impacts and with a crisper, more high-performance feel on the water. It uses a combination of 0.6mm Australian pine wood and glass fibres to combine premium technology with a quality finish in a value package.
The unique shape and the four fins generate maximum drive and acceleration, bringing an awesome production of speed, flow and power to your sailing in all wave & wind combinations.
Stable and extremely responsive, the Quads are most rewarding when driven off the rails for powerful yet smooth turns. The four-fin grip gives a very connected sensation to the wave yet they still have the ability to lose the tail when extended through the lip for a rotational move.
For 2015, subtle changes producing significant differences in performances have been introduced on three models in the range.
The Quad 79 and 84 have their Vee brought forward of the fins. This produces more precise rail-to-rail control in the bottom turn allowing for quicker trajectory changes as well as facilitating cutbacks as the board rolls off the Vee to set the forward rail.
More outline curve was added between the footstraps of the Quad 74 for quicker and tighter turns but also allowing the board to project more vertically up the face of the wave. - See more at: http://www.star-board-windsurfing.com/2015/products/boards/quad#overview
